During our recent discussions, Leonello Boschiroli intervened on behalf of the CEE to discuss information published in the Italian press concerning a potential project involving Crédit Agricole Italia and Banco BPM.
These statements have raised questions and concerns among employees and staff representatives in Italy. Having been present for nearly twenty years, the Crédit Agricole Group has progressively built a strong position in this country, which today represents a significant part of its activities in Europe.
In this context, the EEE wished to reiterate the importance of closely monitoring developments in the Italian banking sector and any potential projects that could affect the Group's activities in the country.
